what happens if i need to
miss or cancel an appointment?
When an appointment has been scheduled, you will be expected to keep that appointment unless you let the office staff or your therapist know ahead of time that you are unable to attend. We have many clients who want to be seen and/or are on a waiting list to be contacted as soon as we are notified of cancelations. As a courtesy to our clients, we ask that you give us advanced notice of any appointments you need to cancel so that we have sufficient time to contact people to let them know of an opening. We will extend the same offer of a cancelation opening to you as well.
If you do need to cancel an appointment, we ask that you notify our staff no later than 10:00a
on the workday preceding your appointment or you will be billed for the session fee for that time. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be billed at a rate of $50.00 Please be aware your insurance company will not provide reimbursement to you for charges due to late cancelations or missed appointments. If your missed appointment or late cancelation is due to an emergency or circumstances beyond your control, such as severely inclement weather, we would certainly understand and you would not be charged.
